Swim Meets
What To Bring
This list is not a comprehensive list, it is intended to help swimmers
things you may not need, you may also find that the list does not
include things you may find useful.
  1. Towels: Understand your swimmer may be at the pool awhile and work
    really well)
  2. Warm Clothes: Swimmers may become cold in between swims and
    may swim poorly as a result, this may detract from the athletes over
    all enjoyment and result in a bad experience. A comfortable sweater
    and long pants are recommended
  3. Games, coloring books, books, mp3 player, anything to pass the time
    between swims.
  4. Food: swimmers use lots of energy during their races and multiple
    races deplete energy stores rather quickly. Athletes will need to
    replace lost energy with nutritious snacks suggestions include:
  1. Drinks: Fruit Juice, Gatorade, Powerade
  2. Snacks: Yogurt, Fruit (bananas, apples, strawberries), Granola
    bars, Sandwiches
  1. If possible wear team clothing, show your FBST pride!!!
